A family aviation legacy, built into an international airport
Named after Eduard Alexander Gummels, EAG is owned and operated by a group with deep roots in Suriname aviation.
Mission
To provide Suriname and the wider region with a calm, dependable and business-ready aviation gateway — supporting corporate travel, diplomatic movements, and the specialised needs of the oil & gas industry.
Vision
A regional hub that connects Suriname to the Guyanas and beyond with the care, precision and professionalism that four decades of family aviation experience make possible.
Ownership
EAG Airport Management N.V. is owned by Beheers- en Beleggingsmaatschappij Sky Farmers N.V., Surinam Sky Farmers N.V. and Gum Air N.V. — collectively representing 44+ years of continuous Suriname aviation experience. The airport grew out of Heliport Paramaribo, historically flying approximately 790 rotations a year in support of offshore energy operations.
